Which technologies and solutions have proven effective in practice? We will explore these questions during the 4th edition of the Open Day – Modern Timber Structures 2026.

This year’s event will focus on structural connections – elements that often remain hidden from view, yet play a crucial role in determining the safety, durability and efficiency of modern timber structures.

The conference will bring together the worlds of research, design and construction practice. The programme will cover both technical topics and practical aspects of project delivery. Together, we will explore the challenges faced on a daily basis by architects, structural engineers, contractors, manufacturers, academics and students.
